In this Pro Tips 4U sports training basketball video, Mo Williams, point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers goes over Defensive Tips and Drills. Learn the secrets of how to play defense on a shooter, a ball-handler and a poor shooter. When guarding a shooter Mo goes over chopping your feet and getting into the defender so he can’t shoot, forcing him to put it on the floor. On a ball handler, Mo shows you the chop and why you want to stay arms length off. Lastly Mo goes over the different chop and length to play off of a poor shooter. In addition, Mo goes over “No Middle” and the move to make the person you’re defending drive to the baseline or how to cut him off when he tries to go middle.

Mo Williams is a guard for the Portland Trail Blazers. Over his NBA career, he has averaged near 14 points and five assists per game while playing for the Jazz, Bucks, Cavaliers and Clippers. His free throw percentage in the NBA is 86.7 percent. While playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009, Mo was selected to his first All-Star game.You can see his career stats at his NBA page.

I play in an Australian league, so people over here really only look at offense like crossovers, dunks and all that shit, i always… And i mean always… I always win because i have used all these tips, they get so pissed off when i block and steal because they are just helpless, the more angry they get, the worse they get, especially when their trying to throw lobs and shit

  3. I'm in the 7th grade I'm practicing for tryouts at my school and I'm just practicing hard to be either a good offense or defense female player my dad lead his school to Los Angeles and won and I think I gotta little steph curry in me lol
