Creamy Mushroom Soup:

1 ONION, Chopped fine

¼ c. OIL

Place in heavy soup pot. Cook onions until softened and translucent.

4 c. WATER

4 c. MILK

4 BEEF BOUILLION

2 small cans MUSHROOMS, drained is about 1 ½ cups mushrooms

2-4 Tbsp. CORNSTARCH, depending if you want thin or thick soup

2 tsp. SUGAR

1 tsp. SALT

1 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC or 4 crushed cloves

1 tsp. BASIL, dry

1 tsp. unsweetened COCOA

1 tsp. WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE

¼ tsp. PEPPER

Combine all, bring to a boil while stirring to thicken, and keep warm on a simmer for a richer flavor.
