  1. This is not the real Tango! I must congratulate the couple on trying to teach dancing but should be clear about what to call Tango here.
    Also, the lady is not wearing a real Tango Shoes rather something to do with Ballroom dancing 🙂

  2. This isn't salon tango. It's what's derogatorily called "academic tango" which is tango taught using step sequences that have little to no relationship to the music. Real tango has no basic step sequence and is danced to the music. Listen to the music, anticipate the music, then dance to the music. Real tango looks nothing like the "8-count basic."
