    1)when you put salt in Water it is completely dissolved , so the paste is covered more evenly
    2)when you put salt in water the boiling point rise , so the pasta is cooked faster

  5. GUYS! If you add oil to the water, make sure you toss it to the toilet, because you throw to kitchen sink you will contaminate thousands liters of water to be recicled.

    Same thing with the used oil from pans and stuff…put papernews in trash can and throw your used oil there!

  7. Putting oil in the pasta water depends of the use of the pasta you made it for.
    If its for sauces with cream or watery sauces, the sauce does not stick very well to the pasta, which is not good.
    If its for oily sauce or if you don't want to use it directly oil is usefull.

    It is so funny that they think that it is wrong and that method will get your ass whopped in Italy.
