The frog crunch if a ab/ core exercise. This is a variation of the crunches. If you are a beginner this is a great ab exercise for you to start with.
Just make sure you are doing the frog crunches properly. This means you don’t rest your feet on the floor when doing the movement and also you lift the shoulders off the floor when you crunch up
Having a strong core is the important if you want to improve overall strength and do more advanced bodyweight exercise. Just incase.
The frog crunches will mainly activate the upper abdominal muscles.
