  1. Very useful video and awesome lessons….so far that is the best video l've ever seen about salary negotiation technics. Thanks Ramit! U are doing great job!

  2. was nodding my head first minute. taking mental notes 2nd. reciting key points 3rd minute. holy $h!t by the 4th! lol. thanks

  3. Such a great lesson especially for those who think negotiating is out of the question. Today, I negotiated my salary (with only 20 min of speaking) and got an additional 7% increase from the original offer. I watched both Ramit's video as well as Pat Goodwin's video. My advice is watch this videos at least twice, then write a brief paragraph on what you are going to say to the HR, etc. then practice. Good luck! And of course Thank you Ramit, deeply influenced by you! Lets connect on linkedIN!

  4. Ramit,

Came across your site by chance. I didn't know I was missing out on so much valuable information. THANK YOU!

  5. nice video , most of the time u get a question what is yur current salary and wht is yur expected salary, how should we answer this question

  6. Thank you for this video.  Using your techniques I was able to renegotiate my hourly wage from $12 an hour to $20 an hour.  In addition I was able to increase my commission split from 15% to 25%.  Your insights in regards to negotiating, as well as my recent increase in productivity made for a graceful increase in pay.  Much appreciated Ramit!!

  7. I re-watched your videos a couple days before I had my 2nd year review although I have been following you for a few years now. This was my first time asking, I got a $15,000 yearly salary increase. Thank you. Anyone watching these videos, you can do it too!

  8. Ramit, This. Video. Is. Amazing! I'm dying to see my manager once he gets back from business trip. We need to talk! :)

  9. I've been doing research because I'm honestly nervous and scared to negotiate, here's why. I'm only a CAD draftsman with a 2 year degree. This is also my first job in this field. I've been a contractor for months now and they love my work and are most likely going to bring me on. The catch is, the job is more in depth and requires me to do more with skills I haven't learned. With that being said I live the company environment and where it's headed. Do I have a better chance of negotiating future compensation towards education rather than salary such as 75% tuition assistance? So they can get a return on their investment, if that makes sense.

  10. Ramit, I was fed up in my job and underpaid. I followed this video, almost word for word and negotiated myself a £7000 ($11000) pay increase. You cannot imagine the financial stresses this has lifted from my shoulders. Thank you
