Taking up tennis? Learn how to play tennis like Roger Federer with this online tennis lesson.
Hi, my name is Angelina Zdorovytska. Right now we’re in the beautiful city of Los Angeles in Beverly Hills. I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old. I was ranked number 1 tennis player in the Ukraine. 350 in the world ranking. I run my own business; it’s besttennisever.com. I train very good players. Also, I train beginners, intermediate players. Tennis is my life and my passion. I live for it and now I would like to talk to you about tennis. And now, we’re going to discuss how to play like Roger Federer, the number one tennis player. He is so graceful and he is so amazing like a person. Federer has a different game than Nadal, his game has a little bit more variety. He is playing on the baseline, he can be a great player on a different surfaces. So he can play on a clay court, which is a slow court, he can play on the hard court, which is a faster court and you know he can play on the grass so he is a universal player, he can play on every surface. His game is he is hitting a flutter shots comparing to Nadal. He’s using a little bit more strategy so he has more variety, he can drop shot, he can lob, he can volley and his game is again different in the way that he doesn’t play those long points and he’s not dragging that point and not playing like twenty, thirty balls. He has shorter points, he hits couple balls on the baseline preparing himself for a good shot, you know hitting a pro shot and going to the net to finish the shot.
