How to Tie a Tie: THE HALF WINDSOR (slow+mirrored=beginner) | How to Tie a Half Windsor Knot (easy)

EASY, SMALL, & CLASSY HALF WINDSOR KNOT

The half windsor is a step up from the four-in-hand knot. It is larger than the four-in-hand knot and is symmetrical.

This knot is perfect for skinny (side-to-side) but not thin ties and thick but not wide ties. Make sense?

LEARN FROM THE FREAKING BEST

Since we posted our first video in 2007, we’ve taught more people how to tie a tie than anyone in the history of the world (thanks YouTube!). One of the most consistent comments we get is, “with your videos, I learned how to tie a tie my first try”

Teaching someone something new isn’t easy. It takes practice and a little bit of instinct. In this how to tie a tie video we make sure to go slow so that beginners can learn the knot the first time through.
