How to Use Watercolor - Introduction Tutorial

The first of hopefully, many tutorial videos to come! PLEASE, keep in mind that this isn’t the ‘ONLY’ way to go about watercolour; it’s what I’ve learnt through my years of practicing, so take what you can from it!

  1. Thank you for this video. I havnt used watercolor in a long time but i want to try it again. Hope you have a great day.

  2. Thanks so much. I have a friend who is brilliant at this, and I am trying to learn. I draw but never could understand how to control water colors so just avoided them. That was helpful :)

  3. wow. this was the best explained video for intros to watercolor I've seen! I got a windsor and Newton set from a completely random customer who overheard I was trying to learn watercolor (talk about amazingly kind!!!). Unfortunately, I've struggled a lot with watercolor haha, I have so much trouble with the wet-on-wet technique, it usually just get's the paper all wrinkly and soggy, even when using watercolor paper (probably using too much water). The last time I touched watercolor was at least 4 years ago though, this video makes me want to try it out again! :D

  4. I love this and I've been in art at school for years and yet I still haven't really done it much as a hobby outside of school. I can't really draw well like some of my friends so I need some practice but watercolor seems fun to get into.
